Psalms 150:6

What to listen to when…

dependable

~ Dependable God – Victor Thompson ~

Psalm 23:4 “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

Even though you may feel troubled or alone right now, you are still deeply loved and continually cherished by God. You are not walking through this valley by yourself and He will always be there to comfort and guide you through.

how much more

~ How Much More (Live) – Jordan G. Welch ~

Philippians 4:6-7 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

A feeling many of us feel too often – especially amidst of the pressures of university success. However let this verse remind you that God is your keeper. You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus, so anything that is causing you to worry- submit it to God in prayer by faith and let Him do the rest.

Matthew 6:30 “Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you of little faith.”

hallelujah moment

~ Hallelujah (Moment) – Live – David’s Harp, Gregory Brunot ~

Matthew 17:20 “So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “move from here to there and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.””

How lucky are we to have a God who, despite our shortcomings, has given us authority to do such things by faith? This is a reminder to give Him thanks and just reflect on His goodness not just for what He has done, but for the God that He is.

lead me

~ Lead me, Guide Me – Jordan G. Welch ~

1 Peter 5:7 “Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”

Matthew 18:12 “What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying?”

God cares about each and every one of us very deeply! He will always leave the 99 for the 1, so do not fear, delight in the Lord and He shall grant you the desires of your heart.

he understands

~ He Understands – Chandler Moore ~

Psalms 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

God is an unfailing God. Although things may not be looking the best right now in your own sight, God is still there in the midst of the chaos and the storm looking out for you. So be still, take a moment to stop, even if for a moment, and listen carefully for His voice. A lot of the times, things happen to us in life that we just cannot comprehend – so this is a reminder to just surrender it all to God, be honest with Him, He understands.

ignite my life

~ Ignite my life – Campus Rush Music, Sewa ~

John 19:30 “So when Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.”

Jesus was fully man and fully God. He felt pain, experienced temptation, and yet was still faithful to God’s will. We are all sinners by nature, but because of God’s grace we have access to salvation.

Philippians 2:8 “And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”

If Jesus, the Son of God can humble himself to the point of obedience, it is not to say that it will be an easy process, but that is already enough evidence that you and I have the ability to do the same.

~ Holy Ghost – Sewa ~

Ezekiel 37:3 “And He said to me, “Son of Man, can these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord God, You know.””

The same God who gave Ezekiel the authority to speak life and breath over, and prophesy on to dry bones that they may live is the same God that You and I have the privilege of serving. His merciful nature is so beautiful – what a privilege it is to be used as a vessel for His Great Works!

rai rai

~ Lift Up Your Head (Rai Rai) – KAC Music, Randolph Adjei ~

2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

God is in your corner always. The Bible says he knows the number of hairs on our head. Being bold isn’t always easy, but it is necessary as a Child of God, because we know we haven’t been given a spirt of fear.

Psalms 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

yahweh refuge

~ Yahweh (Refuge) – wildfire music, Priscilla Alamanzié ~

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.”

A heart posture of worship is a very special one to have. It is a heart which says Lord – I love you, thank you for being my rock, my shield, my comforter, my hiding place, my deliverer, thank you for being such a merciful God!

Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
